The Concert
Featuring Oliver Wakeman & Mollie Marriott
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the legendary Rick Wakeman to our stage for an extraordinary, deeply personal festive show. This is a strictly limited, incredibly rare chance to get up close and personal with a true rock icon in the breathtaking intimacy of our venue.
Following a critically acclaimed, first-ever joint tour across the USA earlier this year, Rick is sharing the stage with his eldest son, Oliver Wakeman. Both are former keyboard players for YES and The Strawbs, as well as award-winning composers in their own right. Bringing their combined musical heritage to life, they are joined by the spectacular vocals of Mollie Marriott—a frequent collaborator of Rick's who features heavily on his highly anticipated upcoming album, Return to the Red Planet.
Together, this powerhouse trio will perform a stunning setlist ranging from classic progressive rock masterpieces to brand-new music. Because Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without one of Rick’s traditional Yuletide celebrations, the evening will be wrapped in a wonderful seasonal flavour to get you in the perfect festive mood.
This is a never-to-be-repeated opportunity. With Rick’s massive touring commitments taking him strictly to major concert halls next year, this may well be your final chance to witness this keyboard icon in an intimate venue like ours. Although excitingly, Rick will be making a very special appearance with Mollie on our Spring 2027 river cruise from Budapest to Passau for just 130 guests. Find out more: voyage.tradingboundaries.com
Expect a magical evening of masterful tunes, awe-inspiring musicianship, and, of course, plenty of Rick's trademark hilarious banter and wondrous storytelling.
