For 10 years there had been rumours of BRAND X reuniting, and then in late 2016 it happened. Founding members Percy Jones (Bass), John Goodsall(Guitar) along with longtime Drummer Kenwood Dennard pulled it off – and there was much rejoicing. Completing the band were Keyboard whiz Chris Clark and Percussionist Scott Weinberger. Fast Forward to 2019: Jaw-dropping performances at Ros-Fest, ProgtoberFest, ProgStockand Cruise To The Edge 2019 lead many fansto hailthis: “The Best BRAND X of all time!”Rave reviews in The Huffington Post, Progression Mag, New York Times, Innerviews, etcall confidently claimed the new version on par with the old Phil Collins version from back in the day. Nowadays a virtual “Who’s Who” of Rock has come out to catch them live, including members of YES, KING CRIMSON, DREAM THEATRE, STEVE HACKETT, ADRIAN BELEW, FOCUS, THE DIXIE DREGS, , METALLICA, RENAISANCEand others...
In 2017 Dennard secured his professorship atBerkleeCollege in Boston, and in stepped Kenny Grohowskion Drums –and that’s when the flame turned into a full on fire. Kenny G (ashe’s affectionately called)helped propel the band to a new level. In2019 the band started playing shows internationally, and Alex Machacekwas roped in. Many see Machacekas “The Next Allen Holdsworth” as he continues to burn it up with Brand X on all international shows. (Don’t worry, Goodsallis healthy and a always a member of brand X --but he chooses not to travel outside the U.S.)

Dining tickets include a table reservation for the evening and a delicious two course dinner. Upon arrival you will be shown to your table where you can enjoy dinner & drinks before kicking back to enjoy the show. There are always vegetarian/vegan options on the menu and we are happy to cater for any other dietary requirements - although we kindly ask (in the case of major allegies) that guest notify us in advance where possible.
Premium booths require a minumum of 4 persons and there is a small additional surcharge for booking. Contact our showroom on 01825 790 200 to learn more and make a reservation. All guest are welcome to explore the showrooms (which are open all evening) before and after dinner and our friendly staff will be on hand to assist with any questions you have or purchases you may wish to make. Please follow social distancing guidelines at all times and pay attention to any one way systems arranged around the venue.
Although we recommend dining tickets as the best way to experience our events, we also have limited room for standing guests at most shows. Due to the nature of our restaurant, standing guests are invited to use our bar and shopping areas until 30 minutes before the event. Standing guests are welcome to browse the Roger Dean Gallery, make use of the heated decking area and browse our showrooms until shortly before the show begins.
Please note our doors open at 7pm. Tickets are non refundable however in the unlikely event a concert is cancelled, a refund will be offered or a credit note issued.
Unless otherwise stated all concerts will begin around 9pm and generally finish between 11.15pm and midnight.
Shows will usually consist of two 45 minute sets with a short 20 minute interval although this may vary between events. Please check the event specific information on your tickets after purchase.
For the safety of all our guests and staff please read the following safety policy. We are extending the below measures during the winter months for all of our upcoming events between 1st October and 31st December.
We have spent the past few weeks discussing becoming 'vaccine only' with both concert-goers and bands and have had overwhelming support for our approach, so we hope you will find our announcement a relief, and for those of you who do not agree with our policy we hope you understand that our decision has been made in the spirit of safety.
We very much look forward to the time when things can return to normal and that we can welcome everybody back without these precautions.
