Our Wood
As you are no doubt sadly aware the world’s rain forests are depleting at an alarming rate. We would like to reassure you that our range of reproduction furniture is made solely either from reclaimed wood or from timber originating from sustainable plantations of hardwood trees embracing good forestry management.
Our solid reproduction furniture should last a lifetime. We use only the top grade kiln-dried timber in Teak, Sheesham, Rosewood Acacia and Mango by Craftsman using traditional methods to produce each piece of furniture by hand.
Finished in a natural wax the warm wood tones are allowed to show through giving an excellent blend of traditional and new features that will stand the test of time.
As wood is a natural living product, some movement is perfectly normal as the wood breathes and reacts to variations in the moisture content of the air.
It is very rare, given the quality and seasoning of the timber we use, for major cracks to appear or for drawers to stick, but in the unlikely event of this occurring then our company policy is to replace the item if it cannot be repaired to the customers satisfaction.
